The Research for this method
Application for MYTCARD METHOD
All participants will have MYTCARD METHOD English version
Multi-languages version of MYTCARD METHOD will be offered to media's representative only
READERS OF ALL MEDIA CAN DOWNLOAD THE MYTCARD METHOD
The MYTCARD METHOD is created by Mr. Fuk Hing, TONG for the electronic book "DIGIPHOTO GUIDE FOR BEGINNERS", intending to find the best exposure with the LCD display review.
As this method would be beneficial for all photographers and many of them may not need the Beginners' Guide, Mr. F. H. TONG decided to supply the MYTCARD METHOD free to the public. The sponsors, CANON and KODAK agreed for this proposal.
Digital photo has become a phenomenal hit and a high percentage of all media's readers are using digital cameras.
For the benefit of all concern, we decide that any media preferring to supply to their readers directly from their sites are welcomed. This would help us to solve the huge downloading which may be up to tens of millions in total.
This arrangement is based on the following agreement.
TERMS OF AGREEMENT
(Note: The term 'Media' used hereafter is basically referred to newsagent etc. and we include all sites on the Internet that supply information to readers under the group name 'Media'.)
1. The copyright of MYTCARD METHOD remains reserved by the publisher and sponsors of the ebook "DIGIPHOTO GUIDE FOR BEGINNERS" ISBN 988-97616-1-0.
2. It is not allowed to change the content of the material otherwise it is considered as a kind of COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT. The material includes a digital image file for 4R print and instruction (Win Word & pdf format).
3. The media can arrange the design of the web page for readers' free download of this MYTCARD METHOD as well as their articles, comment or test reports.
4. All media can decide to supply to their readers or not. They are not obliged to distribute even though they have requested the MYTCARD METHOD material from us.
5. The listing of media's name/domain name in MYTCARD.com is free and compulsory without commercial involvement. Same will be arranged for Photo Labs.
6. Photo lab and other related service business are welcomed and must obey the same rule as media. The only exception is the cost of printing the 4R photo and the instruction sheets, which is entirely their own decision to charge their customers.
LANGUAGE
Although the languages for the book mentioned are English and Chinese (Traditional & Simplified Characters) in separate editions, yet the MYTCARD METHOD is a different case with this decision. Therefore, we have translated into other languages that we can. Furthermore, in case of some people would not prefer all these languages, symbols are used also. The complete set of material will be in English, Chinese Traditional Characters, Chinese Simplified Characters, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, German, Portuguese and Spanish.
We cannot be sure that the translated instructions are perfect or not. English instruction will be placed together for reference.
SCHEDULE
The supply of this MYTCARD METHOD will be started on Feb. 8, 2004 after the PRESS RELEASE EVENT in HK(Feb. 7, 2004) and Macau(Feb. 8, 2004). We shall send by email the next day (Feb. 9, 2004) for those media upon their requests before the end of January 2004. Late requests will still be accepted and dispatched as soon as we can arrange.
Any media that like to get MYTCARD METHOD can send email to MYTCARD@t-photo.com, saying whether they would like to join the PRESS RELEASE EVENT or get the material by EMAIL. We shall give the material in complete set (all languages) unless it is mentioned for only a selected language.
PRESS RELEASE EVENT is expected to be a two hours program covering introduction and demonstration. Due to limited seats, tickets will be supplied if available only.
To simplify this arrangement, any media, photo lab etc. who request and/or receive the MYTCARD METHOD material will mean that they have seen and accepted our TERMS OF AGREEMENT.
SUPPORTING WEB SITE
In order to separate this freely supplied MYTCARD METHOD, a site named MYTCARD.com is established. This site will be used to announce latest information including listing of media providing the download and a forum for users to share experience. Please note that the electronic book will not be sold in this site.
For over a month, we have mentioned "For the time being, we do not plan to have downloading of MYTCARD METHOD material from this site, unless there is a need to do so.". However, as there is only one response so far, we cannot let digital camera users in the world to be cut off from our free release. Therefore, we have to offer the free download in our site. But, any media who want to offer download for their readers is still welcomed.
The listing of media will be based on the distribution upon requests.

Mr. Fuk Hing, Tong has been a freelance lecturer since 1974 and column writer for various photo magazines and newspapers in HK in different periods. He had been the lecturer of several photo courses of HK ARTS CENTRE from 1984 to 1992 including ARTS PHOTOGRAPHY, PURE B/W PHOTOGRAPHY, PURE COLOR PHOTOGRAPHY, PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY etc. From 1986, he has established F. H. TONG'S STUDIO and organized nine workshops with photo exhibitions ranging from B/W, COLOR, NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY etc.
His career ranges from accounting, IT developer to e-Business consultant.
Till now, he has two websites: t-photo.com and uscforesight.com.
He is the Council Member of HKITF (HK Information Technology Federation, website: www.hkitf.org) and Member of AHKEA (American Hong Kong Electronic Association, website www.ahkea.org).
The relationship with Kodak started in 1984, when Mr. Tong decided to organize a program to promote photography to secondary schools in HK. That "PHOTO EDUCATION PROGRAM" has been run for ten years, joined by about 100 schools. Kodak (F.E.) Ltd. and Canon (Jardine Photo Systems) sponsored for the cost of operations including TRAINING COURSES for teachers and students, SLIDE SHOWS, SEMINARS, PHOTO TRIPS and an ENGLISH-CHINESE PHOTOGRAPHIC DICTIONARY project. In addition, PROFESSIONAL TECHNIQUE TRAINING PROGRAM and PHOTO TECHNIQUE TRAINING PROGRAM have been organized with the sponsorship from Kodak (F.E.) Ltd. with co-sponsorship from agents of SINAR, BRONCOLOR etc. at that time in Hong Kong.
The relationship with Canon also started in 1984, when Jardine Photo Systems was the agent in HK. Mr. T. O. Lee was the Director & General Manager of Jardine Photo Systems at that time.
Canon has established Canon HK Co., Ltd. after ending the agency agreement with Jardine. Therefore, the sponsorship this time is from Canon HK Co., Ltd.
